🤔 FAMILY
Are you saying this word wrong?
A lot of English learners make this mistake, but it’s easy to fix.
In American English, we say: FAM-ly
It’s not, Fah-me-lee. It’s FAM-ly
There is just 2 syllables: FAM-ly
The stress is on the first syllable: FAM-ly
* My FAM-ly lives in New York.
* Jack comes from a big FAM-ly
* Thanksgiving is a FAM-ly holiday
* We have dinner on Sundays with the whole FAM-ly
Let’s practice. I’ll say blue. You say green.
* FAM-ly
* My FAM-ly lives in New York.
* Jack comes from a big FAM-ly

How about you? Do you come from a big FAM-ly? Write your example with family in the comments.
