Don’t Say Call To You – English Grammar Mistake

MichaelADGrammar

Have you said this?
A lot of English learners make this mistake, but it’s easy to fix.
And changing one small thing will make your English sound more natural.

In English, when you talk about the telephone, you don’t need to after call.
* So it’s not: I’ll call to you later.
* Instead, you can say: I’ll call you later.

Here are some more examples:
* Can you call me after work?
* She called her mom yesterday.
* I’ll call you when I get home.

It’s the same with text:
* I’ll text you after work.
* Don’t forget to text Jack.

Try writing your own sentence with call in the comments.
Thanks for watching, and until next time, keep learning and keep it cool.
