🤔 WALK or WORK?
A lot of English learners have trouble with this, but it’s easy to fix.

The “a” in walk sounds like saw: walk.
I saw her walk. Walk.
* Let’s walk.
* Don’t walk too fast.
* I need to walk the dog.

Now compare that with work.
The “o” in wərk sounds like saw: bird
The bird wərks. Wərk

Work.
* Let’s work.
* They work hard.
* We can work together.
Walk. Wərk. Can you hear the difference?

Let’s practice together. I’ll say blue. You say green.
* The bird wərks
* I saw her walk
* Walk / Wərk
* Let’s walk to work

Why not write your example with walk and wərk in the comments.

Thanks for watching, and until next time, keep learning and keep it cool.
