Are you saying this word wrong?
A lot of English learners make this mistake, but it’s easy to fix. And changing this one thing will make your pronunciation sound more natural.
Don’t say: axe. 🪓 is a tool you cut wood with.
Instead, say, ask. It’s AS with a K sound at the end: Ask
Like,
“Can I ask you a question?”
“I wanted to ask for help.”
“She asked me about work.”
Let’s practice. (I’ll say blue. You say green)
Ask.
Ask me.
Can I ask you?
Leave your sentence with ASK in the comments.
