When you get something for peanuts, you buy it something at a very low cost or for a very cheap price.

Example Sentences:

  • Emily got a high-quality laptop for peanuts during the Black Friday sale; it was an incredible deal.
  • John managed to get his hands on a vintage record player for peanuts at a garage sale.
  • Lisa found a beautiful antique mirror at a thrift store and got it for peanuts compared to its actual value.
