Get with it means to become informed or updated about something. We use this idiom to encourage someone to catch up or be knowledgeable about a particular topic or situation.
Here are some examples using get with it:
- Lisa, you need to get with it and read the latest industry news.
- Mark, it’s important to get with it and understand the new software system we’ll be using.
- Emily, get with it and familiarize yourself with the upcoming changes in the project.
Keep in mind the best way to remember this or any vocabulary in English is to take the word or phrase write it in a sentence that’s true for you or true in your world and then memorize your sentences.
