Remember To Use The S Form Of The Verb – The Third Person S

MIchael Grammar

Remember the Third Person S In English

Don’t say she like pizza or he work hard or it go over there. This is one of the most common mistakes made by English learners.

The grammar rule is very clear. In English, when you’re talking about she, he or it, you need to have the third person S. Some examples are:

  • She likes pizza
  • He works for Happy English.
  • That’s a special knife. It goes in the knife holder on the kitchen counter.

Keep in mind the best way to remember grammar like this, or even vocabulary in English, is to take the word or phrase write it in a sentence that’s true for you or true in your world and then memorize your sentences.

You can even take your sentences and write them in the comments below. I would love to see your examples.
