Remember the Third Person S In English
she like pizza or he work hard or it go over there. This is one of the most common mistakes made by English learners.
The grammar rule is very clear. In English, when you’re talking about she, he or it, you need to have the third person S. Some examples are:
- She likes pizza
- He works for Happy English.
- That’s a special knife. It goes in the knife holder on the kitchen counter.
Keep in mind the best way to remember grammar like this, or even vocabulary in English, is to take the word or phrase write it in a sentence that’s true for you or true in your world and then memorize your sentences.
