What does the phrasal verb come out mean? Well, we use come out when we talk about something that appears. We usually use come out to talk about the sun, the moon, and the stars.

  • After several days of rain, the sun finally came out.
  • When the stars come out at night, I like to look up and imagine what’s out there.
  • In the old days, people used to think that when the moon came out, strange creatures like vampires would also come out.
