Plug In / Unplug
When you plug in your device, you connect a wire to it, or you connect its wire to something.
When you unplug your device, you disconnect a wire from it, or you disconnect its wire from something.

  • I plug in my phone every night before I go to bed.
  • The PC monitor didn’t work because you didn’t plug it in.
  • I heard a funny noise when I plugged in the toaster, so I quickly unplugged it.
