The questions are the same as the previous episode!
Yesterday I was asked to take pictures of some family. I replied “Sure” when I was asked, but I realized later that the guy said “Would you mind…”. I have been feeling awkward since then…
Ryo, I can imagine that situation, and I can imagine that your face and body language to him said, “I would be happy to do so…” and some native speakers would reply this way as well.
Here is my answer.
1. Do you mind + the gerand
2. Do you mind + a person + the gerund
Thanks Ryo! Nice work
Hi Michael,
Based on the today’s lesson, these are the answers:
Do you mind + person + gerund – Do you mind me leaving early from work?
Do you mind + if … – Do you mind if I come to coffee with you?
God Job Amali! Thanks for trying 🙂
