There are a lot of bad words and offensive words in every language. English is no exception to that. So, in today’s podcast, I am going to show you one of the lesser offensive words, “hell”, and its unoffensive replacement, “heck.” Until the early 1960’s, using the word “hell” on TV was prohibited. Nowadays, it’s a bit less offensive in casual and informal English. I will caution you, though. Using this like using all offensive words can get you into trouble, so while I think it is good to know this vocabulary, I can not recommend using it.
