Here is another great question that I got from one of my followers on Instagram. Is it true that if you don’t have any certain goals, then you won’t be improving your English? Is that true? Do you need specific goals to improve your English? Let’s discuss.
Here are some of the key points from this episode. To see all of them and to get the details of this English lesson, you need to listen to the podcast or join my Podcast Learner’s Group for the transcript, live group lessons, and more.
Setting a specific goal, such as reaching a certain score on the TOEIC or TOEFL, can be helpful for structuring your English learning journey. Here’s why. Having a specific goal gives you a clear sense of direction. It helps you understand what you want to achieve and where you want to focus your efforts.
Maybe you just enjoy the process of learning and using English. That’s reason enough to keep at it. What I mean there is you can do things, and improve your skills at those things, just because you like doing them. And maybe you study English because you just enjoy the process. And that’s motivation enough to keep improving.
If you know anyone who might be interested in this English language point, why not help them out! Just share this lesson with them. Thanks for studying today!
