Today I’d like to talk about a basic element of English grammar. Unlike what happens in some other languages, in English, the verb needs to change depending on the subject of the sentence. English teachers refer to this as Subject and verb agreement. For today’s English lesson, let’s check this out.

  • I work, she works.
  • I play, The orchestra plays.
  • I like pizza.
