    1. It’s not that it’s impolite, but that “envy” is a powerful word and a strong emotion. If your friend got free tickets to a concert and you did’t, you would be jealous, but not envious. The point of this lesson is that many students respond in such situations with, “Oh, I envy you” and that sounds funny to native English speakers.

    About the movie… Two old friends, best friends when they were young, grow up and take different directions. Nowadays, one of them has a good life and other the opposite. So, this guy has envy of your old friend and try to kill him!
