Say, tell, speak, talk… they all mean “to use words,” right? So why do we say, “Say something,” but “Tell me something”? Why is it “Talk to me,” but “Speak with someone”?

If you’ve ever felt confused about these four verbs, you’re not alone. And today, we’re going to make this simple and clear. And here’s a simple way to think about it.
